The gap
The Canadian Coast Guard operates roughly 120 vessels across 202,000 kilometres of coastline and nearly eight million square kilometres of ocean. That is about one hull for every 1,700 kilometres of shore, and the demand grows every year as northern waters open.
We build uncrewed surface vessels to close that gap. A hull costs a fraction of a crewed patrol boat, carries nobody to put at risk, and can sit on a line for weeks at a time. We designed them so the communities nearest the work can keep them running, and we build them in Canada.

Eureka 001, our prototype, is in field trials on Ontario waters under our own command-and-control system. Northern deployment follows once the trials programme is complete.
One operator can command multiple hulls through a fleet console we engineered ourselves, with sensor fusion, navigation safety rules, and full audit logging.
Eureka-class vessels launch from a trailer and stack two to a standard 20-foot container in a cradle, so a patrol pair travels anywhere a container ships, including northern sealift.
Canadian-owned, engineered in Almonte, Ontario, and made in Canada. Security of supply is a design requirement for government and defence operations.
The vessel line
Our first class is Eureka, a 16-foot hybrid gas-electric uncrewed surface vessel (USV) in welded aluminum. It transits at 24 knots on the outboard, then holds station on electric thrust and solar for weeks at a time through the operating season. Two more classes are in design.
