Resolute Autonomy

Autonomy Stack

Every Resolute vessel runs the same software, so capabilities proven on the Eureka class carry over to the classes that follow. We wrote all of it: perception, compliance, navigation, command, and simulation. The stack is Canadian-owned and Canadian-controlled.

Perception and fusion

Radar, AIS, cameras, charts, and operator reports flow into one normalized measurement stream and are fused into a single live picture: tracked vessels with history and behaviour, and a map of what the sensors have confirmed.

Compliance by design

Autonomous systems handle data without a person in the loop, and Canadian law still applies: privacy, classification, and the protection of sensitive information. Our fusion pipeline carries security metadata on every measurement and enforces machine-readable policy automatically, with a complete audit trail.

A reviewer can reproduce any decision the system made, later, on a separate machine.

Navigation safety

Traffic-separation holds, charted-hazard mission gates, and collision-avoidance behaviours run automatically. Operators can override, and every override is role-gated, requires a stated reason, and is audited.

Command and control

Our fleet console gives one operator the operating picture for many hulls, with a full bridge view for any single vessel when close control is needed. It runs over ordinary cellular networks and behaves predictably when communications degrade.

Simulation

A multi-vessel simulator generates unlimited test scenarios, from routine transits to deliberately hostile edge cases, and automated tests run on every code change. Failure cases are tested in simulation before any vessel meets them on the water.
