Resolute Autonomy builds small uncrewed surface vessels for Canadian waters: Canadian-built aluminium hulls fitted with our own compute, sensors and autonomy software. We are a small team with a working prototype, a workshop, and our own private test shoreline on Clayton Lake. On-water trials are under way, and a ground-vehicle prototype is next.

Full-time, on-site · $60,000 to $75,000
You will do mechanical work that gets wet. Sensor masts and mounts, transducer installations, waterproof enclosures and cable penetrations, battery and solar mounting, deck hardware, and the fixtures that make assembly repeatable. You will take parts from CAD through fabrication with our shop, install them on the boat, and be there for on-water testing. As the ground-vehicle prototype starts, you will work on its chassis and mounts too. You will work directly with the founder; there is no layer between your work and the vessel.
What we need:
What helps: boats or time on the water; welding or machining; electronics assembly (soldering, cable looms, connectors); marine hardware or off-road/robotics experience; not minding cold hands in November.
What you get: $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience, three weeks of vacation, a health spending account, breadth a big company can't offer, hardware you can point at, test days on our own lake, and a small company where your work is visible.

Full-time, on-site · $85,000 to $110,000
You will write software that runs on real vehicles against real sensors. Fusion and tracking on live radar, AIS and camera data; detection pipelines for the landmine-detection programme; path planning through hazard fields; integration with Pixhawk/ArduPilot over MAVLink; and the test suites that let us trust all of it. Your code ships to a boat, and you will stand on the shoreline while it drives. You will work directly with the founder, who wrote the existing stack.
What we need:
What helps: ArduPilot/MAVLink or ROS experience; radar or sonar processing; C++ or CUDA; TensorRT or edge inference; marine, aerospace or robotics background; time on the water.
What you get: $85,000 to $110,000 depending on experience, three weeks of vacation, a health spending account, a modern, tested codebase, hardware your code visibly moves, and real problems: GNSS-denied navigation, mine detection, multi-vessel autonomy.
